Affordable Websites that Showcase your Business

As a business owner, there is no getting around it. A website is a business’s marketing tool that is accessible 24/7. It is the most powerful and lasting connection you can have with your customer. It’s where they discover who you are, what you stand for, and why they should do business with you. It’s also a reflection of your brand image.

“But,” you might ask. “what will this website do for me? How will it benefit my business?”

  • Your business needs a website so you can brand yourself – One of the major reasons to have a company website is to establish your branding and create an identity for your business. Internet users are often referred by word-of-mouth, previous customer reviews on websites like Yelp or other online directories, and social media sites such as Facebook. By putting up a website, you are showing the consumers that you have created an online presence for them to find you and learn more about you.
  • Branding yourself also helps with your SEO – Search Engine Optimization is important as it shows search engines (such as Google and Bing) what content is on your page and how relevant it is to the specific search for that content. By having a website, you can fill out all of the necessary information about your business, including relevant key words and plenty of images to increase the ranking of your page on major search engines. This will make it more likely that users will see your brand/business name when searching online which in turn establishes your identity and branding even more.
  • If you have a business, then you need to be able to prove that it exists online – Businesses tend to ignore the fact that they should have an online presence, however when trying to apply for trademarks/business licenses and registering your company as being active with the state, it is sometimes required to prove this is so. This can be done by submitting a website to the state with all of your company information, phone number, address, and websites to check back on quarterly or annually.

So, how does it work?

The first step in the process is to find out as much about your business as possible. The main purpose for this research is to provide us with a starting point so we can produce ideas and present them back to you to determine what direction you want to go. This step will also ensure we are on the same page with the vision you have for your online presence. We have put together a questionnaire here of questions that are helpful in order to refine this process.

Next we need to define the “look-and-feel”. This is where a logo comes in handy since it will determine the color scheme of the site. If you don’t have a logo yet, please check out this page to give you some tips on what you need to look out when having a logo created. Click here to find out about our logo service offerings.

The next step is on you! You will seed to gather all the images you want to include on the site as well as the content on the pages we will be creating. We can guide you along the way.

Once we fine tune the “what it is that we are co-creating” and the “look-and-feel”, then we establish a workspace where we proceed to build the prototype. Disclaimer: we don’t like to share this early in the process so as not to create confusion, but you will have access to it in the more advanced stages of production.

We will send you a link of your prototype based on the information we have gathered. We will then set up a time to go over the newly created site and you will have an opportunity to review it and send your feedback.
